WHAT IS
THE JOG-A-THON?
For over 30 years, St Anthony's Primary School & St Dominic's College in Whanganui have provide traditional Catholic education.
For nearly 10 years we have run an annual bike-a-thon, but this year with the Whanganui Velodrome closed for repairs, we are taking to our feet.
This year our annual fundraiser will involve running the laps. Students and staff will run for an hour to raise funds to help support Catholic education.
As the only private Catholic school in New Zealand, limited financial support comes from the Ministry of Education, and with low cost tuition to accommodate all families, fundraising is critical to providing this education. Our Jog-a-thon is one of these main fundraisers.

HOW CAN I HELP?
What can a donation help St Anthony's and St Dominic's College do?

FUND A STUDENT'S TUITION OR EXAMINATION FEES
Make Education and Success Possible for All
St Anthony's Primary School and St Dominic's College are located in a low-decile area of New Zealand, and many families, following traditional Catholic morals, have many children.
Sometimes families are unable to afford tuition or the examination fees in the upper years. Your donation can help us to cover these expenses.
PROVIDE NEW RESOURCES
From Textbooks, to Media & Sports Equipment
Many of the resources that St Anthony's and St Dominic's students use have seen many students over many years. Soccer balls and nets are showing wear. Textbooks are sometimes held together by much mending. Some clasrooms are equipped with projectors and media equipment, but not all. Your donation can help us to provide new textbooks, replace aging equipment, and purchase new needed resources.

MAINTAIN THE PROPERTY TO PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Fill in the Cracks
Thanks to a generous benefactor we have been able to build new boys' college classroom and an administrative block in in the last five years, we have added a small science laboratory by sprucing up a disused classroom, but many of our classroom spaces are as old as the school—over 30 years, and are in great need of some attention. Maintaining our facilities comes at a significant cost. Your donations can help us replace aging lights, insulate some areas, repair damage, and make our educational environment safe and a positive learning space.

"Even though we are weak, even though we are so few in the face of the mission which God is asking us to fulfill, for that very reason, we are strong"
Msgr Marcel Lefebvre, Founder of the Priestly Society of St Pius X
